We are the data controller for the information described below.
When you book. Your name, email address, telephone number and address; the dates of your stay and the pitch or pod you book; how many adults, children and dogs are coming; and, where you give them, your vehicle registration and expected arrival time. We need this to hold your pitch, to let you on to the site, and to contact you about your stay.
When you pay. Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe’s systems and are never seen or stored by this website or by us. We keep a record that a payment was made, for how much, and when.
When you send us a message. The name, email address and message you type into our contact form, so we can reply.
When you browse. Cookies and similar technology. Which ones, and what each is for, is set out in our Cookie Policy. Nothing optional is set unless you agree to it, and you can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link.
We handle booking information because it is necessary to perform our contract with you. We handle enquiries on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering you. Optional cookies and any marketing email are handled only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Our booking system, Campsite Booking System, is provided and hosted by Technophobia Limited, who process booking data on our instructions. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Email we send you is delivered by our mail provider. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
We keep booking records for as long as we need them to run the site and to meet our accounting and tax obligations, which is normally six years. Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted once they have been dealt with.
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it where we no longer need it, and object to or restrict what we do with it. Write to us at the address above and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
